Strengthening Transparency & Coordination Between Verona’s Township Council and Board of Education

Verona faces a set of interconnected municipal and educational challenges that increasingly require shared planning, shared information, and shared responsibility. Residents, township officials, and education leaders recognize the same underlying truth: the Township Council and Board of Education cannot solve their respective problems in isolation.

Verona works best when every part of local government is aligned around the same goals: serving residents, planning responsibly, and communicating openly. Our Town Council and Board of Education each manage critical pieces of community life, but many of the challenges they face, including development impacts, budget pressures, and long‑term facilities needs, overlap.
